The promotional products that you purchase are a direct reflection of your company or organization. Shawn Promotions want to ensure that your message or identity is crisp, clean, and consistent. Although we use state of the art printing processes, the final product will only look as good as the artwork that we receive. For this reason, our requirements for submitting artwork appear below. The most common obstacle in printing your logo on items is artwork that has been created or submitted at low resolutions. You can always make a large image smaller without losing quality. Rarely can you make a small image larger, as needed for printing, without losing quality or causing pixilation (rough edges). Please read below for specific requirements.

ACCEPTABLE ARTWORK
Adobe Illustrator
Macintosh or IBM Compatible
  • Change all text into "outlines" in your document.
  • Color your text and graphics with standard Pantone or CMYK color mixes.
  • If you are using an imported graphic in your Illustrator document, be sure to include the original graphic file. Place graphics at 100%.
  • Save the file as an Illustrator or an EPS, selecting version 6.0 or higher when given the option. Save and create artwork in Vector Format
 		  
Adobe Photoshop
Macintosh or IBM Compatible
  • Files must be saved as a Macintosh TIFF with no LZW compression.
  • Do not color an image in Photoshop.
  • Color all text and graphics according to standard Pantone or CMYK color mixes
  • All files need to be submitted at the size being used for printing.
 
Corel draw
IBM Compatible (MUST be exported to Illustrator format)
  • Always export your files according to the following specifications and be sure to include your supporting graphics when sending to us.
  • When creating your files, please create only one page per document. Pages after the first one are lost when exported.
  • Color all text and graphics with standard Pantone or CMYK color mixes.
  • Place all graphics at 100%.
  • Export as an EPS file.
  • Always select the “text to curves” option to eliminate font information from your file.
 		  
Macromedia FreeHand
Macintosh or IBM Compatible
  • Be sure to "convert to paths" all text characters in your document.
  • Color your text and graphics with standard Pantone or CMYK color mixes.
  • If you are using an imported graphic in your FreeHand document, be sure to include the original graphic file colored correctly.
  • Place graphics at 100%.
  • Export the file as an EPS.

DO NOT HAVE ACCEPTABLE ARTWORK -- NO PROBLEM --

We have a graphic artist in house who can recreate your logo and add whatever else you need to print on your items. The cost is $45.00 per hour to recreate your logo in the high resolution format needed. Artwork can be done within 24 to 48 hours. You might consider showing these requirements to your graphic designer so he or she can supply you with the appropriate copy; usually the original digital artwork and/or non-web version of your logo.

If you need our help with your artwork, we can accept the following formats: .eps, .jpg, .gif, .pdf, .doc word files or any other low resolution format. These formats must be recreated in the correct format at $45.00 per hour.
